The Band Toto Asia
Toto expanded its production facilities overseas, and doing business in France and Germany, Indonesia, Korea and Taiwan, Thailand and the People's Republic of China. The company believed that North America as a growth market for Washlet bidets and toilets, as opposed to its "base" markets of Japan and China.
Dhaniram Toto was recording Toto words to ensure the future generations would be able to read the words. Many words were substituted with foreign ones. For example dui, which was Bengali for verandah, was being used.
Origins
Toto's early history, which began in 1917, was a reflection of Japan's economic growth. In the early years of its existence, the company manufactured goods to meet demand for modern, contemporary urban housing. It used the first tunnel kilns in the country that could produce ceramics continuously. It also pioneered automation for production control, which helps to increase efficiency and a more consistent production.
The company began expanding its operations overseas in the latter part of the 1980s to profit from new markets and sales opportunities. The company created the Cera Trading Company to import and distribute other manufacturers' products to expand its line of sanitary earthenwares as well as plumbing fittings. 토토사이트 꽁머니 increased sales and expanded the company's market share in the world.
In the late 1990s, Toto had shifted its focus to research and development of water-related household appliances. It also improved its system of distribution to better serve its customers and improve profit. The company adopted a just-in-time method of managing supply chains, and it used the same method in its sales program. This led to a higher level of customer satisfaction.
Toto continues to invent in the toilet technology. The latest toilet from the company features a strong, eco-friendly tornado flush. Toto uses recycled water for its manufacturing process, and also has a green purchasing policy. Toto also manufactures bathtubs, faucets, and hand dryers with higher energy efficiency than typical models.
The first Toto museum opened in the year 2015. It features exhibits on Toto's most famous products as well as their evolution, group companies (all of which are made from ceramics), the history of plumbing and products such as bath units. In another gallery, visitors can see Toto products that are sold across the world. The museum even has a bathroom that includes a WASHLET toilet as well as other toilet-related innovations.
Before forming Toto the band, members of the group performed sessions for many musicians. Boz Scaggs album Silk Degrees featured keyboardist David Paich as well as guitarists Mike Porcaro & Steve Lukather, drummers Jeff Porcaro & Steve Lukather. They also performed on albums by Steely Dan, Seals and Crofts, and Sonny and Cher.
Discography
With a name as evocative as Asia you'd expect the group to be prog kings and queens but they're actually a fairly straightforward rock band. The group was formed as a four-piece and released two albums in 1979, the self-titled debut album and 1980's Armed to the Teeth. The band has a varied musical background but their biggest success was in 1982 with Toto IV.
The album was a huge blockbuster, but it was not without its problems. Record companies put the band on position with the order "give us a hit record or we'll take you off the market" and the pressure was on to deliver. Toto was able to do this with the help from the smash hit "Africa."
Toto's musical mastery is a result of their previous experience. Before forming the group, the members worked as session musicians for artists such as Boz Scaggs. Steely Dan and Seals and Crofts. Their sonic signature has become the norm for pop music from the 1980s, and has influenced many contemporary artists.
The album begins hard with tracks like Running Out of Time or Unknown Soldier that show the band's ability to write great AOR tunes that slowly creep into your head. The album also contains slow, jazzier tracks like The Little Things and Chinatown. The album concludes with Great Expectations. This song is a mix of folk and distorted AOR that could sound completely wrong but actually is very effective.
After Toto IV, the band's fortunes turned towards the negative. David Hungate left to concentrate on his solo career, and the band was through several drummers. In 1984, Bobby Kimball was fired from the group in the aftermath of drug-related charges. However, the group continued to perform as a trio featuring Michael Porcaro and Steve Lukather.
Toto released Isolation despite the turbulence. It was not as well-liked as IV. The group managed to release an album that was chart-topping, Kingdom of Desire, in 1992. The album marked the end of the original Toto lineup and was also the first album featuring the new singer, Simon Phillips.

The band has a wide repertoire, and its catalog has been listened to more than one billion times on streaming services across the globe. The band's music has influenced generations of fans.
Steve Lukather and Joe Williams have forged a deep colorful friendship that is thriving professionally on a global basis. In 2018 the duo celebrated their 40th anniversary of Tours Around the Sun with a hugely successful global tour. The album that bears the same name reached #5 on Billboard 200. The new tour of the band includes their most popular songs and rarely played live deep cuts, alongside a selection of songs from Lukather and Williams their individual catalogs.

Line-up
The album's third, Turn Back, marked an reversion to the classic sextet style of previous albums and was a more ferocious, consistent effort with a harder edge than Hydra. The more experimental sound of Turn Back was a reflection of the development of the group. Drummer Bobby Kimball's increased ability to play was evident in the vocal delivery of Joseph Williams, who had grown more confident and mature. Keyboardist David Paich's work was more refined, sharper, and less derivative than previously recorded recordings.
After touring to promote their album, the band recorded their Amsterdam live concert which was released on Eagle Records as a 2-CD set titled Falling In Between. The group released a brand new studio album just a few months after, and went on a world tour to help promote the album. During this time, keyboardist Greg Phillinganes replaced Paich and bassist David Hungate quit the group to spend time with his family.
In 1998, Paich and Lukather started searching through old tapes and demos for a new record featuring songs that were never recorded before. The album was released in 2001 as a duo album titled Then & Now. It was the first album in the band's history not to feature any single song that had the word "A" in the title, and it also contained one previously unreleased track, "Kari-Anne".
By 2003, Toto had begun to decline in popularity. The group's fourth album, Old Is New was not a commercial success and vocalist Williams was suffering from laryngitis that restricted his singing capabilities. In addition, Hungate returned to Nashville and drummer Leland Sklar was replaced by Shem von Schroeck.
Downes, Wetton Palmer and Howe, the original members of Asia The original Asia members met in England in the early part of 2006 to discuss the possibility that the band could be reformed. This lineup, with the exception of Howe (who was busy with Yes at the time) was eventually referred to as Toto XIV and toured extensively.
In 2010, the band reunited for another reunion tour with a slightly different line-up, including guitarists Mike Porcaro and Steve Lukather, drummer John Pierce, bassist Shannon Forrest, and multi-instrumentalists Warren Ham and Dominique Taplin. The group also had a guest appearance by singer Michael McDonald, and a backing singer named Mabvuto Carpenter.
