Line-up
Turn Back, the band's third studio album it was a return to a classic sextet structure, and it was a more consistent, more powerful effort that had a more grittier edge. Its more punk-rock sound was indicative of the maturation of group and featured drummer Bobby Kimball's improved proficiency on the drums, as well as a more confident, mature vocal delivery from singer Joseph Williams.
