Understanding parental perspectives through mixed systematic reviews is imperative for developing effective school health care for children and adolescents with chronic disease. A mixed systematic review was conducted to explore barriers to and facilitators of school health care for students with chronic disease as perceived by their parents. Four databases (2010-2020) were searched, following which critical appraisals were conducted to determine the validity of the selected studies using the Mixed Method Appraisal Tool, version 2018. Twenty articles were synthesized using the convergent integrated approach from the Joanna Briggs Institute's mixed method systematic review methodology. We examined 20 articles regarding parents' perceived barriers and facilitators and found views across four levels intrapersonal, interpersonal, institutional, and public and policy. Parents perceived more barriers than facilitators. Barriers on the institutional level were the most frequently reported of all levels of barriers. These results suggest that multi-level school health interventions could be a valuable resource to facilitate effective school guidelines and public policies for students with chronic diseases.Transition metals interact with a large proportion of the proteome in all forms of life, and they play mandatory and irreplaceable roles. It is believed that approximately 70% of DED cases are due to some form of evaporative dry eye, for which Meibomian gland dysfunction (MGD) is the major cause. Unfortunately, currently there is no effective treatment for MGD, and solely palliative care is available. Given the importance of MGD in DED, there has been a growing interest in studying Meibomian gland development, homeostasis and pathology, and, also, in developing therapies for treating and/or preventing MGD. For such, animal models have shown to be a vital tool. Much of what is known today about the Meibomian gland and MGD was learnt from these important animal models. In particular, canine and rabbit models have been essential for studying the physiopathology and progression of DED, and the mouse model, which includes different knockout strains, has enabled the identification of specific pathways potentially involved in MGD. Herein, we provide a bibliographic review on the various animal models that have been used to study Meibomian gland development, Meibomian gland homeostasis and MGD, primarily focusing on publications between 2000 and 2020.The paper presents preliminary studies of a new innovative surface treatment method-the process of roller burnishing of macro-irregularities of the surface. As part of the work, the possibility of plastic shaping of the surface macrostructure with indentations (plateau structure), which will show anti-wear properties through appropriate surface shaping and the compressive stress state in the product's top layer, was investigated. The essence of the paper is the analysis of one of the aspects of the application of this processing method, i.e., the influence of the elastic recovery of the product on its technological quality measured by dimensional deviation. The main objective of the work is to develop adequate methods and mathematical models to enable the design of the macro-asperities of the surface burnishing process to maintain the dimensional tolerance of the shaped parts. The results of dependencies of elastic recovery of the asperities and the deviation of height, Δht, for sample depths of burnishing were presented. The model tests of the elastic recovery of the model material using the visioplasticity method show that with the increase of the value of the vertical surface asperities, the value of the elastic recovery of the material decreases. The increase of the deviation of the asperities' height causes a decrease in the value of elastic recovery. With the increase of the value of the vertical angle of the surface roughness, the value of the elastic recovery of the material is smaller.In this study, we aimed to associate the molecular typing of Legionella isolates with a culture technique during routine Legionella hospital environmental surveillance in hot water distribution systems (HWDSs) to develop a risk map able to be used to prevent nosocomial infections and formulate appropriate preventive measures. Hot water samples were cultured according to ISO 117312017. The isolates were serotyped using an agglutination test and genotyped by sequence-based typing (SBT) for Legionella pneumophila or macrophage infectivity potentiator (mip) gene sequencing for non-pneumophila Legionella species.
